What does this course include?

Our Skills for Success Course was developed to provide solutions for individuals to be prepared for the workplace. In this course I want to provide for you my personal experience as a manager and trainer for UniLever (10 years) and The Coca-Cola Company for over 27 years.  I was able to equip and train multiple regions in both people skills and essential soft skills based on the DISC personalized behavioral profile and help individuals be prepared for the workplace in the following areas:

Session 1 People Skills is defined as “the ability to communicate effectively with people in a friendly way, especially in business” or personal effectiveness skills. You will gain an understanding of self and how to identify the behavioral style of others.  This course will provide you with the cognitive flexibility to adapt your personal behavior in response to changes in the workplace environment. You will learn how to adapt, blend, and connect your style and “get in sync” with others by providing the behavioral tactics and methods to be incorporated into their professional and personal life.

Session 2 COMMUNICATION—the number 1 skill that employer’s demand. We will help you improve the process of using words, sounds, signs, or behaviors to express or exchange information or to express your ideas, thoughts, feelings, etc., to someone else.

Session 3 COLLABORATION—identify better ways to work with another person or group to achieve or do something.

Session 4 CONFLICT RESOLUTION—the act of finding an answer or solution to a strong disagreement between people, groups, etc., that results in often angry arguments.

Session 5 CONFIDENCE—improving your confidence so that you can do something well or succeed at something.

Session 6 CREATIVITY—identifying ways to express your ability to make new things or think of new ideas.

Session 7 CHARACTER—protect your character and your emotions of the way you think, feel, and behave.

Session 8 Time Management – helps you understand how you and others value time. We will review your distractions that are currently wasting time and how to reduce or eliminate them.

Session 9 Decision-making – provide the ability to make better quality decisions for your personal and professional life.

Session 10 Problem Solving – provide the different ways to analyze and solve problems based on your personality style.

BONUS Session 11 Behavioral Interview – learn how to get in sync with the interviewer and create the S.T.A.R. technique to secure your desired job.
